Service Areas

Spray Foam Insulation Across Nogales & Santa Cruz County, Arizona

The service area spans a genuine ~1,650-foot elevation gradient in a compact footprint — Tubac at roughly 3,230 ft to Sonoita at roughly 4,885 ft — which means insulation specs reasonably vary by community even though the whole area sits in one IECC climate zone (3B). All communities below are served by UniSource Energy Services (UES), not the SRP/APS utilities that govern Phoenix-metro rebates.

Nogales

~3,865 ft

As the Santa Cruz County seat and the border-crossing hub anchored by the Mariposa Land Port of Entry, Nogales carries a mix of older downtown-adjacent housing stock and a genuine commercial cold-storage/warehouse demand tied to the produce trade crossing the border. Homes here often have minimal original insulation, and warehouse buildings staging refrigerated freight have condensation and vapor-barrier needs a standard metal-building spec doesn't solve. UniSource Energy Services (UES) is the utility serving this area.

Rio Rico

~3,480–3,550 ft

Rio Rico is the fastest-growing residential area in the county, with master-planned subdivisions and newer construction alongside an adjacent industrial zone tied to produce logistics. Newer homes here are more likely to have baseline insulation already, which shifts the conversation toward upgrading attic assemblies and sealing gaps rather than a from-scratch retrofit.

Tubac

~3,230 ft

Tubac's historic arts-village character means a meaningful share of adobe and older Southwestern-style construction, which calls for a more careful, less invasive retrofit approach than a standard stick-frame attic job. Tourism-adjacent commercial buildings in the village also see steady interest in comfort and utility-cost improvements.

Patagonia

~4,200 ft

Patagonia sits noticeably higher and cooler at night than Nogales proper, with a small-town, rural character. Ranch and outbuilding insulation demand is real here — sheds, shops, and equestrian structures that were never insulated when built.

Sonoita

~4,885 ft

Sonoita, home to Arizona's original American Viticultural Area, has the coldest winter exposure in the service area alongside a cool-night viticulture microclimate. Equestrian and vineyard-outbuilding insulation is a recurring need, and new-construction specs here reasonably lean more toward winter heat retention than a Nogales-area build 1,000+ feet lower.

Greater Santa Cruz County

3,200–5,000+ ft range

Beyond the named communities, our service radius covers rural and ranch properties across the county — agricultural structures, off-grid buildings, and properties with longer travel distances from Nogales proper. We're upfront about scheduling for these jobs rather than treating every property as equally quick to reach.
